What a fun week we've had! The students have working hard to earn toppings for their ice cream sundae party on Friday by mastering multiplication facts through their 12's. They get to put toppings on that they earned and they have been highly motivated by this! Thank you to all that helped supply the goodies for this endeavor!
In reading, we finished up a story titled Rocks in His Head which was a biography about a man who was a rock collector that owned a gas station. He eventually got a job as curator of mineralogy at a museum during the Great Depression. A test was given on Thursday on this, along with a spelling test on the iPods.
In science this week, we fittingly studied rocks and minerals and their characteristics and uses. We will be studying Kansas History next week in preparation of Kansas Day.
Thanks for all you do! Be sure to check the Family Times each Friday!
