This week in Math, we finished up our unit on counting money and making change. We will continue to practice on this skill as we move on to properties of addition next week. Remember to have your child use Ten Marks math to practice with any items that they are learning in class as reinforcement of skills taught. It's paperless charts progress for me so I know what it is they still need extra help on.
In Reading, we finished up a story titled If You Made a Million. It was a fantasy that shows how much a million dollars actually is! A test was given on Thursday. Next week, we will read a story titled My Rows and Piles of Coins. The yellow Family Times sheet has all the skills, grammar, and spelling they will need to know for the up-coming week. Keep this in a handy spot for quick reference of skills taught throughout the week.
We finished out the week in Social Studies learning about The Constitution for Constitution Day. We will continue our studies on economics next week learning about supply and demand.
Have a great weekend!
