This week (all 2 days of it), we have been working on data, graphs, mode, median, and range in data sets in math. We will continue to practice this skill when we return from the holiday.
In reading, the students have been presenting their book report projects. I am so grateful to have such involved parents on this project. They turned out so well, and I can tell that most students have put in their time rehearsing their presentations.
In social studies, we have been focusing on Native American tribes in the United States.
On a side note, I want to remind everyone to have a Thanksgiving holiday full of good times and great memories. Remember what you are thankful for over this break. It really uplifts the mind. I tell my students to minimize their woes and maximize their gratefulness. I hope everyone has a safe holiday and that all my students come back next Tuesday focused, refreshed, and ready to get their learning game on!
